Plans for the future 

When we discovered La Grande Combe in 1980 it was in a derelict state after 25 years of neglect.  We bought it in 1982 and have since then completely renovated the property, especially during the last 8 years.  It is now beautifully restored, offering exceptional accommodation suitable for a variety of activities.  For us now, after 28 years, the time has come to hand over the reins to a new owner.  Therefore our first step is to look for someone who will continue our work in providing a unique venue for residential seminars and training courses.  We welcome enquiries from all interested parties, and invite them to contact us directly. 

Hans and Nelleke Versteegen

Since 1997, we have been part of a cooperative (known as the “Aveyron Initiative”) with other local Dutch people who also run chambres d’hôte/gîtes. A walk, called “the French valleys tour”, has been mapped out between all our houses.
